1. ACTIVITY: Summary of activity within your NCSC over the last quarter. If there has not been much activity in the last quarter, you may consider including any projects you are working on, issues your NCSC is facing, discussions or growth with which you may like support.

No change with respect to last quarterly report submitted on 03 September, 2021.

The only project which is still in early phases is contact with the Association of Italian Chiropractors (AIC) General Education Program (GEP) representative. This program creates mentorship opportunities for new grads beginning practice in Italy. We're still outlining a protocol to combine GEP requirements with practical hours in sports settings that new grads can also apply to ICSC program requirements.

CHALLENGES: List any challenges which your NCSC are facing, or your Executives are working to solve. (List N/A if none at this stage)

As noted in the most recent quarterly report, chiropractic is still not fully recognized and regulated as a health profession in Italy, which makes it difficult to officially approach federations/organizations. Our national chiropractic organization is still in the final phases of establishing a clear scope of practice as outlined in the December 2018 healthcare reform legislation. Time and man-hours…there are slightly fewer than 400 chiropractors in a country of about 63 million Italians. This creates significant logistical difficulties in our efforts to provide more consistent chiropractic services at sporting events and provide a voice in public health initiatives on a national scale.
