My unforgettable 2 weeks at The World Games 2025 in Chengdu, China.

It has now been a few weeks since I returned from China. However, my mind and spirit are still basking in the memories of the 15 days I spent in Chengdu with colleagues, athletes, and volunteers. I have lived, studied, and worked in six different countries over many years, but I have never made so many friends, taken so many photographs, and exchanged as many contact details in such a short time.
I want to thank all my new friends from the bottom of my heart for their kindness and generosity they demonstrated toward me and all my colleagues. Their constant desire to ensure that you are comfortable and that you have received food and drinks at mealtime is genuinely incredible. They would often come by bringing snacks and drinks for us, and always with the most beautiful smiles. Such significant events, like the World Games and the gathering of thousands of athletes in one location, are exciting in their own right. Still, the volunteers in Chengdu25 made these events the most beautiful and memorable for all of us. I want to thank you all once again, and I assure you that I will never forget the warmth, hospitality, care, and affection you all showed. All the best to you all, and hopefully, one day I will return to revisit Chengdu and the rest of China.
