The FICS and Logan University scholarship connects advanced postgraduate learning with the real work of supporting athletes, active people and the sports chiropractic profession.
Eligible members can apply for a full-tuition scholarship to study either Sports Science & Rehabilitation or Nutrition & Human Performance. Both pathways are designed to deepen evidence-informed practice while allowing health professionals to continue contributing in their own communities.
This is more than funding for a degree. It is an investment in people who already serve the profession and can carry their learning into better care, stronger leadership and wider international collaboration.

Is This Scholarship for You?
Applicants need to meet the FICS scholarship criteria and the admission requirements for their chosen Logan University program.
Chiropractic Qualification
Hold a Doctor of Chiropractic qualification or an equivalent chiropractic qualification accepted for postgraduate entry.
Current FICS Membership
Be a FICS member in good standing through the relevant NCSC or RCSC. Individual membership may be considered where no national council exists.
ICSC Progress
Hold the International Certificate in Sports Chiropractic, or be scheduled to complete it before the master’s program begins.
Service and Contribution
Demonstrate volunteering or professional contribution through FICS, an NCSC or RCSC, a FICS commission or sporting events.
Academic Readiness
Meet Logan University’s entry requirements, including the published degree, GPA and science-credit requirements for the chosen pathway.
Capacity to Complete
Be ready to meet the program workload, academic standards, enrolment conditions and ongoing scholarship responsibilities.
Academic transcripts completed outside the United States require an evaluation by a NACES-accredited service for US equivalency. Successful scholarship recipients will have time to arrange this evaluation; its cost is the candidate’s responsibility.

Confirm Eligibility
Check your qualification, FICS membership, ICSC progress and Logan University entry requirements.
Prepare Your Record
Gather your chiropractic qualification evidence, academic transcript and current professional CV or résumé.
Tell Your Story
Explain why the scholarship matters to you and how your learning will benefit sports chiropractic and the wider community.
Gather Support
Include two professional letters of recommendation that speak directly to your experience, service and suitability.
Submit Everything
Follow the document, file-name and submission instructions in the rubric and send the complete application before the deadline.
Use the current 2027 application form and rubric as the final authority. Check that every supporting item is included and allow time to resolve missing documents before 30 September.

Two Ways to Deepen Your Contribution
Choose the pathway that best matches the knowledge you want to carry into clinical practice, athlete care and professional leadership.
Both programs support evidence-informed decision making and flexible postgraduate study. The Sports Science & Rehabilitation pathway adds a practical internship, while Nutrition & Human Performance is delivered fully online.
Online coursework with an in-person internship, focused on performance, injury prevention and rehabilitation.
Seven-week course sessions with part-time study also available.
Advanced nutrition knowledge for health, wellness, clinical practice and athletic performance.
Flexible study designed for working health and performance professionals.
A bachelor’s degree or higher and the program’s science prerequisites are required.
Six semester hours each in biological and physical sciences.

Dr Brittany Ramirez leads Logan’s Sports Science & Rehabilitation program and brings experience spanning chiropractic, athletic training and collegiate sport.

Know What You Are Applying For
Which degree can I choose?
The published FICS scholarship page identifies two pathways: Sports Science & Rehabilitation, and Nutrition & Human Performance. Confirm your selection in the application documents.
Is study completely online?
Nutrition & Human Performance is fully online. Sports Science & Rehabilitation uses online coursework and includes an in-person internship arranged at an approved location.
Can I apply before finishing the ICSC?
Yes, if you will complete the ICSC before the Logan master’s program begins. Explain your expected completion timing clearly in the application.
What about an international transcript?
If your prior study was completed outside the United States, a NACES-accredited equivalency evaluation will be required if you receive the scholarship. The candidate pays that cost.
