Spotlight on Serving Athletes at The World Games 2025

On August 19, 2025, I concluded one of the most transformative and professionally rewarding chapters of my career, my first World Games in Chengdu, China. What began as an invitation turned into an unforgettable journey of service, growth, and global connection.

As a sports chiropractor, I had the incredible honor of supporting elite athletes at their peak, playing a small but meaningful role in some of the most defining moments of their athletic careers. From witnessing two world records being made to cheering as Team USA Men’s and Women’s Softball earned gold medals, the energy and excellence of the Games were truly unforgettable.

Collaborating with a global team of highly skilled sports chiropractors, I was immersed in an environment fueled by shared purpose, long days, and a relentless commitment to excellence. The camaraderie, learning, and inspiration that emerged from this collective effort made every step, literal and figurative, worthwhile.

Beyond the competition, Chengdu and its people left a lasting impression and reshaped my perspective. I left with deep appreciation for their generosity, warmth, and hospitality.

This experience was far more than just a professional milestone, it was a powerful testament to what can be achieved when global collaboration, human connection, and the unifying force of sport align. I came with purpose, gave my all, grew through every moment, and left with a renewed sense of gratitude. I returned not only humbled and inspired but transformed.
