After 15 incredible days in Chengdu, we bid farewell to the 2025 World Games on August 17. The warmth and hospitality of the local people and the tireless volunteers transformed every moment into a lasting memory. From the spectacular venues and high-caliber competition to the friendships formed along the way, the experience was truly transformative.

Being part of the FICS sports chiropractor delegation has enriched my practice and my perspective. The event sharpened my clinical skills, challenged me to grow personally and professionally, and reminded me why I chose this path. I will treasure the memories of exploring new places, sharing late shifts with an exceptional team, and reconnecting with old friends while meeting many new colleagues.

Gratitude and growth define this journey. We worked alongside some of the world’s best athletes, whose dedication and resilience pushed them toward new personal bests and world records. Their trust in our care made every hour of work meaningful and worthwhile. It was an honor to support athletes who have trained so tirelessly, sometimes since the qualifier events, and who continued to inspire us all by competing at the highest level.

One of the greatest joys of joining the FICS delegation is the camaraderie and the meaningful bonds formed through serving athletes together. I learned so much from fellow sports chiropractors around the globe—from case management strategies and hands-on techniques to fresh perspectives on injury care. The long days in humid medical tents, treating athletes, coaches, and officials, were made brighter by the unwavering support we gave one another—mentally and professionally.

Photos will carry these memories for a long time, yet the stories behind them will be relived whenever we share them during breaks. While the images capture the moments, the experiences—the conversations, the teamwork, the shared challenges—are what I will carry forward into every future assignment.

Here’s to the next chapter in our sports chiropractic journey: continuing to serve, learn, and grow alongside athletes who continually push the boundaries of possibility. I am deeply grateful for every moment, every challenge, and every horizon that lies ahead.

Friendships through service. Thank you to all who partnered with us on this incredible journey through the World Games 2025 in Chengdu.
