MASTERCLASS – Gait Analysis – Tom Michaud

This course reviews the biomechanical examination necessary to perform a detailed gait analysis. Starting with measurement of the first ray and moving proximally to the hips, specific biomechanical measurements allow you to determine which movement patterns you should expect during subsequent gait analysis. After measuring strength, range of motion, and joint symmetry, you progress to gait analysis. The exact measurements necessary to create a proper treatment protocol are described, and information describing the camera set up, and specific angles are reviewed.
