Identifying and prioritizing research to inform a research agenda for Canadian chiropractors working in sport – the Canadian sports chiropractic perspective

Download (PDF 384.14 KB)

Alex Lee, Mohsen Kazemi (Guest Editor for JCCA sports edition) and Kent Stuber (JCCA Editor-in-Chief) will talk about how the JCCA Annual Special Sports Issue came about, it’s importance/impact, a general description of the articles in the issue, and directions for the future. The yearly sports edition of the Journal the Canadian Chiropractic Association was released in early January 2023. Each year the JCCA has a dedicated issue for sports chiropractic research. It is an open access journal, and is a great source for reading and publishing sports chiropractic research. Please feel free to forward the link of the JCCA sports edition to colleagues: https://chiropractic.ca/jcca-online/current-issue/

Appearing in this current sports edition is the publication of the first Delphi study investigating sports-focused research priorities for the Canadian chiropractic profession. An international Delphi study investigating global research priorities for sports chiropractic has been submitted for publication and is currently under peer review. If you missed the session, you can view it on the FICS Facebook or YouTube Chanel. https://youtu.be/JYbx87mRkY8
