Newsletter Advertising Guidelines and Prices

Specifications and Guidelines

The FICS E-News is published quarterly on March 31, June 30, September 30 and December 31. FICS sponsors are entitled to advertising placement in each issue based on the level of sponsorship purchased.   Additional placement or advertisement can be negotiated with the Secretary-General at: secgen@ficsport.org as an extension to your sponsorship package.

All material and artwork MUST be submitted in the format outlined below. This is to ensure the quality of your artwork. Should you require assistance in designing your advertisements then FICS can put you in contact with one of our sponsors that provides reasonable rates to FICS members and sponsors.

Size and Specifications:
Advertiser to supply print ready artwork.

Full page 

Format/Size: JPEG/JPG saved in standard format at maximum quality, 2480 pixels wide x 3508 pixels high, 300 DPI and CMYK color space. This will fit our 21 cm x 29.7 cm (A4) page size.

Half page 

Format/Size: JPEG/JPG  saved in standard format at maximum quality, 2480 pixels wide x 1754 pixels high, 300 DPI and CMYK color space. This will fit our 21 cm x 14.85 cm (half A4 – landscape) page size.

Quarter page 

Format/Size: JPEG/JPG saved in standard format at maximum quality, 620 pixels wide x 876 pixels high, 300 DPI and CMYK color space. This will fit our 5.25 cm x 7.42 cm (portrait) page size.

Logo 

Preferred Format: PNG-24, not PNG-8 (png-24 supports unlimited color variants) saved with a transparent background and no compression or interlacing. 

Alternate Format: JPG with a white background behind the logo graphic and saved at maximum quality. 

Logo needs to be at least 500 pixels either in height or width depending on the orientation of your logo and at 300 DPI in RGB color space. 

Note: Horizontally oriented logos work best in our newsletter layout but we can accommodate any orientation.

Advertising Prices

If you do not currently hold a sponsorship package with FICS, the following prices are offered as standalone opportunities for advertising placement.  Payment methods offered are via the FICS secure credit card portal or wire transfer. All details of payment methods are listed on the FICS invoice.
