Course Overview
Through research, we improve the diagnosis and management of lower extremity injuries and it is essential that all chiropractors treating athletes keep up-to-date with the latest assessment within this field.
Course Objective
The purpose of this course is to provide doctors of chiropractic with training in the evaluation, treatment, and management of lower extremity injuries in sports. This course will discuss the following:
Lower extremity conditions
Pathoanatomy
Biomechanics
Epidemiology
Pathoanatomy
Acute management, and chronic management of these conditions

1.Recognize common lower extremity injuries in sport.
2. Understand the pathoanatomy and epidemiology of lower extremity injuries in sport.
3. Understand the biomechanics of lower extremity injuries in sport.
4. Determine and provide appropriate acute and chronic management of lower extremity conditions in sports.
