Dr Gillian Johnston
DC, ICSC
I graduated from the University of Johannesburg with a MTech Chiropractic in 2016. Prior to this, I completed a Bachelor of Science in physiology and human biology, at the University of Witwatersrand in 2009.
Since graduating, I have continued my education through FICS and received my ICSC in 2020.
After qualifying I worked in South Africa as an associate chiropractor and then opened my own sports-focused practice from 2018-2022. I have recently immigrated to the Netherlands and currently work in a practice near Rotterdam. I have always had a passion for sports chiropractic because of how helpful it was to me and my performance during my time as an elite athlete. I enjoy educating and adjusting athletes of all skill levels.
Within FICS I have served as a member on the Membership Commission and was Chair of the Student Commission from 2019-2021. I now proudly serve as the 2nd Vice President of FICS and look forward to working on the strategic and operational arms within this fantastic organisation.
