She works daily with elite athletes and complex cases — and now she is bringing that experience to you.
Author of "Dissecting Sports Injuries of the Hip", she is Director of the CCSP Program at Northeast Chiropractic College, FICS Master Instructor for international seminars, and faculty member at the Camera Institute in the Philippines.
Her career has also included serving as FICS Education Chair, Director of Education & Research at Foot Levelers USA and founding the Elite Sports Recovery Center in Florida, where she continues to work with top-tier athletes.
A worldwide lecturer on the Kinetic Chain and athletic performance, she has worked extensively with athletes in soccer, triathlon and water polo, with more than two decades of experience at international sporting events at the highest level.
And she does not just teach performance — she lives it. She is in the gym at 6:30 am every day, bringing the same discipline, energy and practical experience she expects from the athletes she works with.
Clinical & teaching interests
- Dr. Christine Foss brings decades of experience in sports medicine, rehabilitation, human performance, and the treatment of complex athletic injuries.
- She holds a Master’s degree in Sports Medicine from Old Dominion University, a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from New York Chiropractic College, and a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Health Sciences. She is a Certified Athletic Trainer, a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians, and holds the International Certificate in Sports Chiropractic (ICSC).
- Her clinical and research interests focus on human performance and rehabilitation, with particular emphasis on recovery, injury prevention, performance enhancement, physical rehabilitation, and strength and conditioning.
- Dr. Foss has extensive experience treating and rehabilitating both elite athletes and non-athletes. She co-founded Advanced Sports Medicine & Physical Therapy Center and Kid’s Therapy Center and has a particular interest in challenging cases, including patients who have had limited success with conventional care.
- Her sports medicine experience includes working within the Sports Medicine Department at the University of Notre Dame, participating in multiple Olympic Training Camps since 1992, serving at the 2017 World Games in Wroclaw, Poland and the 2023 World Games in Alabama, working at the Bobsleigh World Championships, and traveling with Team USATF to Mexico as part of its medical staff.
- She has also worked alongside leading surgeons in the care and rehabilitation of athletic injuries and lectures internationally on a wide range of sports injury, rehabilitation, and performance topics.
- Dr. Foss is Director and Lead Instructor of the Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician program and brings a depth of clinical, teaching, research, and international sporting experience to every course she delivers.
