About Amy
Born and raised in Athabasca, Alberta, Canada. Competitive gymnast and Ukrainian dancer throughout her youth.
At age 12 landed on her head doing a double-twisting, double backflip and suffered intense pain in her neck and both arms. Chiropractic care helped her recover and return to competitive sports. From that time, she decided that chiropractic was the career for her.
Sports Career
- Extensive experience in the sports arena with rugby, football, gymnastics, marathons, triathlons, golf, and a special interest in womenโs health and prenatal care.
- Worked in multidisciplinary clinics in San Francisco and San Jose for 7 years.
- Worked in Australia for a year, and then Saudi Arabia for 10 years; 7 of which she spent as the Director of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Triple accredited (JCI, ACI, ACHSI) Saad Specialist Hospital.
- 2010 moves to Bahrain and opened her own practice in 2014.
- Medical Director of Bahrain Rugby Football Club.
- Instrumental in the development of Sports Rehabilitation in Triathlon, Boxing, Ducati Superbikes, Gaelic Football, Judo and Netball.
