Charissa Tynan

Charissa Tynan is the Director General of the International Federation of Muaythai Associations (IFMA), where she has led global operations, governance development, and international partnerships for nearly two decades. 

She has played a central role in guiding IFMA to full IOC recognition and expanding its presence across major multi-sport events. Her work focuses on integrity, ethical compliance, athlete welfare, and strengthening alignment with the Olympic Movement. 

Charissa has extensive experience collaborating with international sport bodies, National Olympic Committees, and global stakeholders, and is committed to promoting transparency, fairness, and strong governance frameworks across sport.
