| 1. ACTIVITY: Summary of activity within your NCSC over the last quarter. If there has not been much activity in the last quarter, you may consider including any projects you are working on, issues your NCSC is facing, discussions or growth with which you may like support. | Hi there Trish, I hope all is well with you. It is incredible how time flies. It has been almost a year since moving to the UK. The sense of freedom in terms of chiropractic is just amazing. It was hard at first to take of my international political hat but I am managing just fine. I am really happy Oleg got the scholarship this time around. He really has his head on his shoulders. He will be a tremendous gain for chiropractic and FICS. I am active with the FICS students' club at the AECC. I have made multiple presentations for them already. I do keep close contact with those students who are interested in sports chiropractic and FICS. Be well. All the best to you. Please do give my greetings to everyone in the next EMT and the ExCo. |
| CHALLENGES: List any challenges which your NCSC are facing, or your Executives are working to solve. (List N/A if none at this stage) | The inflation in Turkey for 2022 was over 85 percent. The money lost a lot value against the US Dollar and Euro. It was really difficult to keep the 5 members of the NCSC. As soon as I get payments from them I will make a payment to the FICS. I am still the representative of chiropractic at all levels in Turkey. This year will be probably the last year. I am still pushing and working with the health ministry on a last all out effort for the regulation. We'll see how it'll unfold. At least I can say I tried for 19 years with great effort. If it fails it will be Turkey failing. I will make honest efforts to make it to the FICS meetings but truthfully it may be difficult this year. |
