
Dr Lorenzo Campagna
Lorenzo Campagna is a dual-qualified Chiropractor and Physiotherapist with thirty years of clinical practice and fieldwork in high-performance sport. He is a titled Sports and Exercise Chiropractic Fellow (FAICE 2019) with the Australasian Institute of Chiropractic Education (AICE), an ESSA Accredited Sports Scientist and an ASCA Accredited Strength and Conditioning Coach. His work spans professional football, AFL, netball, indoor cricket, ironman, and several martial arts and boxing disciplines, along with a long-standing involvement in elite youth academies at both National and International levels.
Lorenzo leads Spinal and Sports Care in Sydney, Australia, a multidisciplinary clinic that centres on evidence-based injury management and performance. His professional background includes a postgraduate Master’s in High-Performance Sport from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Graduate Diploma in Sports Chiropractic (Murdoch University), Medical Science (University of Sydney) and formal qualifications in Football Medicine (University of Barcelona).
He has contributed widely to sports trainer education through Sports Medicine Australia. He has supported international teams across multiple World Cups and major international tournaments in a broad range of sports, including Women’s and Men’s Netball and, most recently, the Women’s Football World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
Lorenzo remains strongly engaged in ParaSport, where his work reflects the same commitment to inclusion and athletic excellence that guides his broader clinical and sideline practice. He is currently supporting the Western Sydney Wanderers Powerchair team, providing clinical guidance, performance preparation, and ongoing care to help athletes compete with confidence and continuity. His involvement in this space speaks to a long-standing belief that sports chiropractic should be available to every athlete.
Within the chiropractic profession, Lorenzo has held significant leadership positions. He served as Chair of Sports Chiropractic New South Wales (Australia) and later as a member of the Executive Committee for Sports Chiropractic Australia, helping advance the role of sport-focused chiropractors nationally. He has also contributed to the Australian Chiropractic Association through its Conduct and Ethics Committee and remains involved in professional development and pathway support for emerging clinicians. Alongside this work, Lorenzo is currently the Vice-Chair of the Sports Medicine Australia New South Wales Committee, reinforcing his ongoing involvement across multidisciplinary sports medicine.
As Membership Chair of the International Federation of Sports Chiropractic, Lorenzo is strongly committed to the growth and engagement of sport-focused chiropractors worldwide. He draws on his clinical experience, academic training and broad sideline background, as well as more than two decades of service across committees and professional boards, to support a connected, well-prepared and progressive global membership across individual practitioners and National Chiropractic Sports Councils.
