1. ACTIVITY: Summary of activity within your NCSC over the last quarter. If there has not been much activity in the last quarter, you may consider including any projects you are working on, issues your NCSC is facing, discussions or growth with which you may like support.

SCNZ and FICs were due to have the upper and lower limb seminar in Auckland in September. COVID lockdowns forced the postponement of this until November 12-14. This dats has again been postponed to March 2022 due to the continued COVID restrictions in Auckland.
SCNZ will be present and supporting athletes at the "NZ Squash Classics" this is a re-formatted NZ national Squash championship. The top 32 players will compete for the national title. The event is scheduled for October 29th - 31st in Wellington NZ.

CHALLENGES: List any challenges which your NCSC are facing, or your Executives are working to solve. (List N/A if none at this stage)

COVID regulations have been the biggest problem in attending sporting events this year. Many events continue to be postponed or cancelled.
Currently we are in a transition of leadership, our new SCNZ chair is yet to be named. There has been executive changes from July to September that are still being worked through.

Part II: Areas where FICS and your NCSC could collaborate

EVENTS/GAMES: Any contacts you have with International Sporting Federations. Do you need any help from FICS to organise contact with holders of regional/international games? (If applicable)

SCNZ has been working with FICS to hold the Upper and Lower limb seminars. We are really excited to get this event going with good registration numbers from around New Zealand. COVID restrictions have postponed the seminar so far. March 2022 is the next proposed date.

COLLABORATION: List any major events/conferences which you have coming up and a event link so FICS can co-promote. (If applicable)

More webinars for members would be fantastic. Either live in a decent NZ time zone or pre recorded. We have run these ourselves and have found them to be good CPD for members.
