Your position in your NCSCPresident
1. ACTIVITY: Summary of activity within your NCSC over the last quarter. If there has not been much activity in the last quarter, you may consider including any projects you are working on, issues your NCSC is facing, discussions or growth with which you may like support.

Firstly I would like to thank Dr Robert Moore for his service as president and especially from seeing the SCNZ grow from its initial phases under his leadership. I (Haresh Patel) look forward to carrying on after Robert and continue the great work and time he has put into this group as president.

Some exciting news ahead with the help of Dr Hamish Vodane. The SCNZ has recently proposed the idea of enabling non-NZCA (New Zealand Chiropractic Association) members to join the organization as a new addition. This idea has been finally accepted, this would allow individuals who are not members of NZCA but are interested in sports chiropractic to join SCNZ and receive access to its resources and benefits. To enable this, SCNZ will have a separate membership category for non-NZCA members.

Allowing non-NZCA members to join SCNZ would bring several benefits. First, it would increase the reach of SCNZ and its impact on the sports chiropractic community in New Zealand. Secondly, it would provide an opportunity for non-NZCA members to receive access to specialized resources and training that are currently only available to NZCA members. Third, it would increase the diversity of perspectives and experiences within SCNZ and help bridge towards membership towards the NZCA which we highly encouraged.

CHALLENGES: List any challenges which your NCSC are facing, or your Executives are working to solve. (List N/A if none at this stage)

One of the main challenges of enabling non-NZCA members to join SCNZ is maintaining the value of NZCA membership. To address this, SCNZ can ensure that the benefits of NZCA membership are that the non-NZCA members have a higher membership fee who wish to join SCNZ.
