RCCSF is a special interest group for chiropractors involved in sports care provision and is run by the Royal College of Chiropractors. We have 4 levels of membership: Associate, Licentiate, Member, and Fellow.
Membership of the faculty is based on M-level (Masters level) achievement, or equivalent, in area/s identified as relevant to the faculty. Further information can be found here.
The RCC is a registered charity promoting quality, safety and professionalism in chiropractic. We are an apolitical professional membership body of over 2800 members. The organisation promotes and supports high standards of education, practice, and research, enabling chiropractors to provide and to be recognised for providing high-quality care for patients. You can learn about the RCC on our about page.
If you are already a member of RCC, all you have to do is fill in an extra application form to join the Sports Faculty. There is an annual fee of £60 associated with membership of the faculty, separate from your regular RCC membership fee. Please email admin@rcc-uk.org for further information. By being a member of the RCC Sports Faculty, you gain automatic membership to FICS, including a discount on the ICSC.
The RCC Sports Faculty is the largest faculty within the RCC, and we have a supportive community of sports chiropractors. Many see athletes just in their own clinics, some work outside of the clinics with their local clubs, and some work in professional sports. We put on free sports-specific CPD each year. You can follow RCCSF on instagram. Once you are registered, members have an active Facebook page where people refer to one another and ask athlete or career-related questions.
