Spain – ICSC Lower Extremity Seminar


International Certificate in Sports Chiropractic (ICSC) is coming to Spain: 

  • Theory section: online session will open 30 days before the face-to-face workshops
  • Face to face session:  Practicum fully hands-on (10 hours) – 22-23 October 2022 Madrid (Venue to be confirmed)

This hands-on International Federation of Sports Chiropractic (FICS) seminar in partnership with the Swedish Chiropractic Sports Council (IKS)can be undertaken as a stand-alone CPD event by any chiropractor or final year chiropractic student who is serious about becoming a great sports practitioner and getting the best results for their patients. This seminar meets one of the ‘hands-on seminar’ requirements of the FICS International Certificate in Sports Chiropractic (ICSC) and the minimum standard for those wishing to develop the competencies required in sports chiropractic to serve at official FICS international events. To learn more about the ICSC, please visit: The programme for this seminar incorporates (10 hours of theory and 10 hours practicum) FICS’ renewed ICSC curriculum includes a range of lectures with a sports chiropractic focus, although relevant information for general chiropractic practice is included.


PROGRAMME OUTLINE Lower Extremity – (ankle, foot, hip and knee) – Program overview and learning objectives

  • Emergency procedures theory and practicum assessment
  • Mopal/CMT theory and lab
  • Soft tissue Interventions theory and lab
  • Taping theory and lab
  • Lower extremity practicum assessment

Theory Webinar: (10 hours theory and theory exam) – This session is compulsory before attending the face-to-face session. Participants will be sent a login to the FICS online learning platform to undertake this learning in their own time. There are short quizzes at the end of each section.

Practical Face to Face: 22-23 October 2022 (10 hours practicum)
