1. ACTIVITY: Summary of activity within your NCSC over the last quarter. If there has not been much activity in the last quarter, you may consider including any projects you are working on, issues your NCSC is facing, discussions or growth with which you may like support.

The Swiss Chiropractic Sports Council is going through a phase of transition. The main goal of this transition is to have the new generation of chiropractors take on important roles and responsibilities within the council in Switzerland. The intent of the organisation will remain the same, to promote excellence in education and practice in sports chiropractic, provide chiropractic services at sporting events and represent chiropractic.

Since the SCSC ski-seminar in Saas-Fee march 2021, two new members have joined the SCSC board, Adrien Aymon and Nils Osseiran. Our goals are twofold : firstly, to ensure the continuation of this great organisation and secondly, to bring chiropractors from all the different cantons who have interests in sports together.

The SCSC provides education to its members through regular seminars. The intent is to provide chiropractic physicians the fundamentals to counsel their patients, be it for leisure activities or competitive sport, to prevent injury and obtain optimal performance. Lately, we hosted in Lausanne, the “Upper Limb FICS/ICSC” seminar and our goal would be to make the Olympic capital a home to future sport chiropractic events and seminars in Europe.

Over the coming years, we are looking to grow in all regions of Switzerland and Europe and will be looking for other members to join the SCSC. Our intention is to refresh and solidify the foundation of the organisation.
