1. ACTIVITY: Summary of activity within your NCSC over the last quarter. If there has not been much activity in the last quarter, you may consider including any projects you are working on, issues your NCSC is facing, discussions or growth with which you may like support.

There has been little activity over the last quarter with a lot sporting events still being cancelled due to COVID.

We are due to hold the FICS upper and lower limb seminar in Auckland in March. This has been postponed twice, so we are really excited to get it going.

We are now building the events calendar for the year. We have a opportunities to have chiropractors at the NZ powerlifting competitions and NZ Squash competitions. Another sporting group we are looking to work with is Touch NZ . We covered one event last year and we are looking to build on that.

CHALLENGES: List any challenges which your NCSC are facing, or your Executives are working to solve. (List N/A if none at this stage)

Event cancellation and postponement has been the biggest trouble.

In the set up of SCNZ. We are a special interest group to the New Zealand Chiropractors Association. IN order for people to be members they first need to be members of the NZCA. due to either financial or personal reasons this appears to be a big sticking block for our membership growth.

Part II: Areas where FICS and your NCSC could collaborate

Can FICS please get in contact with the International powerlifting federation to help us build a relationship with the NZ IPF.
