Going from University straight into the professional working world can come as quite a shock. Students might have thought the learning stopped after sitting their last university exam but in reality, we all know how hard it is to take that first step into the world outside of University. This is when the real learning starts.

Some of the challenges which Sports Chiropractic Students face is connecting with practicing doctors and working their way through the minefields. Some of the common questions about licensing, laws, and practice in countries they may not be from and how they can get valuable experience working with athletes, all comes from becoming connected with an experienced hand who has been there and knows the ropes.

Students and new graduates are looking for ways to find jobs, mentors, and preceptor opportunities abroad.   To assist our student members who are embarking on the next stage of their journey, FICS has compiled a list of doctors that students can contact to develop these relationships, assist with questions, or point them in the right direction.

If you are interested in a mentor, please do not hesitate to contact one of the FICS Student Commission members.
